Keyboard shortcuts

Find every keyboard shortcut in the Glyphfield Studio, its canvas tools, the source drawer and the documentation, with the focus each one needs.

Maintained with source

⌘ is the Command key on macOS and Ctrl on Windows and Linux. Option is Alt on Windows and Linux. Editor shortcuts do not act while a text field, select or editable text has focus, except the text-editing shortcuts listed for that state. ⌘K is the one shortcut that also works from inside a field.

Design Lab shortcuts work while Design Lab has focus or the pointer is over it. They do not act while a text field, menu or dialog has focus. Duplicate, delete, cut and the order chords act on the canvas selection, or on the layer chosen in the layer list when nothing is selected on the canvas. Delete and duplicate skip a locked layer chosen in the layer list. The Option shortcuts and the bracket chords read the physical key, so they work on keyboard layouts where those keys type other characters.
